Well, Believe it or not , You can have sex during menstruation but just that you feel there is a mess during the sex. The lady could also put to good use a diaphragm or a menstrual cup in order to keep the blood in, at least for a while.
One Thing is for sure that if you are having sex during woman's menstruation , the higher chances in increasing in the risk of pelvic infections and HIV (because the opening of the cervix widens) and also a higher risk of pregnancy.
